Erin E. Friday, CPA, CEO/President/Head Coach
Ms. Friday started her accounting career with the Philadelphia office of PWC after graduating from Villanova University as a Presidential Scholar with three undergraduate degrees - BS in Accountancy, BS in Mathematics, and BA in General Arts Honors. Following her Big Four experience, Ms. Friday spent two years working for the international actuarial firm of Milliman while completing her MBA at Villanova University. After becoming a licensed CPA in Pennsylvania, Ms. Friday spent ten years as a controller for a Wayne-based financial planning firm. She also spent two years as controller for subsidiaries of PNC Financial Group before returning to the small business marketplace as a Business Development Manager for a local accounting firm. She is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor® and also holds additional CPA licenses in New Jersey and Rwanda.
In 2019, Ms. Friday launched Main Line Accounting's sister company, Thousand Hills Accounting Ltd, in Rwanda. THA is commited to financial education, creating jobs, and supporting businesses as part of Rwanda's Vision 2050. Ms. Friday is also a founding board member and former treasurer of the American Chamber of Commerce in Rwanda.
In the US, Ms. Friday served on the Board of Directors for Philadelphia Youth Basketball (PYB). PYB runs holistic youth development programs that empower young people to reach their full potential as students, athletes, and leaders. Ms. Friday also serves on the Board Finance Committee for Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village (ASYV). Through healing, education, and love, ASYV empowers orpaned and vulnerable Rwandan youth to build lives of dignity and contribute to a better world.
Ms. Friday is also a member of the Foley Hillsley Group Advisory Network, selected experts who assist in addressing a broad spectrum of subjects for wealth advisor clients.
In addition to her membership in the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and Institute for Certified Public Accountants Rwanda (ICPAR), Ms. Friday has also been involved with many other organizations. Ms. Friday is an active supporter of Shooting Touch (an organization that uses the power of basketball "to educate and empower at-risk youth, women, and their communities to live healthier lives" in Boston and Rwanda), Hope Made Real ("dedicated to improving the lives of orphaned and abandoned children, and the poor and vulnerable people of Rwanda, Africa") and the Cummings Foundation (Bill and Joyce Cummings have "a special interest in Rwanda where the Foundation collaborates with Partners in Health and a limited number of other organizations to aid in that East African country's post-genocide recovery and rebuilding").
Ms. Friday is part of the Villanova Alumni Recruitment Network and is currently active with the Eucharistic Minister program at her parish. She is also a certified USA Track and Field official. In 2007, Ms. Friday and her parents received the Steinbrenner Family Heritage Award at the Penn Relays for over 100 years of combined service to the Relays. Ms. Friday is also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies.
Ms. Friday was the 2017 Growth Award winner at the Baird Women's Lifestyle Conference and was featured on the radio show, Women to Watch, in December 2017. Ms. Friday received the 2018 Philadelphia Business Journal's Faces of Philanthropy Award for her work with Philadelphia Youth Basketball. In 2019, Ms. Friday was a featured guest on The Positive Side, an RVTN television program hosted by Anne DeSantis.
Ms. Friday resides in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and Stone Harbor, New Jersey. Her older son resides in Raleigh, NC, and works as a project manager for Epic Games working on Fortnite. Her middle son resides in Newark, DE, and is a construction engineer for Wohlsen Construction currently pursuing his drone pilot's license. Her daughter is currently finishing her masters degree in counseling at Gwynedd Mercy University.
